Deutscher Handelskongress nominates KINEXON as one of the most innovative retail tech companies

Berlin, October 15 – KINEXON @Deutscher Handelskongress 2017. The slogan of this year’s 25th congress highlights everything: “Customers. Trust. Data. – The New Customer Experience.” Industry experts met in Berlin in order to discuss the future of retail and how new technologies and analytical tools help to understand and indentify the customer’s needs.

The German Trade Association awarded the “Innovationspreis des Handels” this year to emerging enterprises digitizing the stationary retail. It was awarded for the third time for groundbreaking innovations and the best in industry. The jury of the German Trade award voted in advance for a shortlist of the most innovative approaches of the past year. We were able to convince through our efforts in the digitization of stationary retail and were nominated among the top three finalists.

This success once again underlines the importance that precise position and motion data as well as the analytics will play for stationary retailers. With the analytics powered by KINEXON, stationary retailers will have within their store unlimited access to the same kind of instruments that have already made e-commerce companies successful.
